Yes! Madam!

I have a bad habit, whenever I finished my shower, I don’t go straight to the room to get myself dressed, instead the first thing I do after I came out from the shower is to sit in front of the PC, half naked with only a towel around my waist.  The thing that annoys my wife is the fact that I would spent more than 10 minutes in front of the PC, half naked, till I finally decided its time to get dressed, yea, my wife is really annoyed.  She’s kinda fed’up trying to remind me all the time as well, and this is what she thought of:

Guess what, when I first saw this note, I actually stood up and went to get myself dressed immediately, I’m not sure why, but surprisingly it works, I guess its just her humourous approach to this matter that really caught my attention.  And yeah, I should really get rid of this bad habit of mine, LOL!

p/s: Speaking of which, I’m actually posting this entry half naked again right after shower, and psst, my wife ain’t home atm too, LOL!!

Thermostat

Believed it or not, my 4AGE doesn’t has a thermostat installed!  Thanks to my mechanic, who actually took it out and threw it away, well its because he has this weird belief that thermostat does nothing good but fucks up the engine, hmmm… WTF?

Anyhow, I ordered a thermostat from a local spare parts shop, suited for all 4A engines:

Other than the thermostat, I’ve also bought some gasket sheets and gasket glue for the installation use.

The next day, I’ve called up Johnny and he dropped by my house at night to help me with the installation, he was doing all the work while I was learning in the process (I’m a mechanical idiot).  Turns out that the installation process of the thermostat is extremely easy, LOL!

The above pictures were taken before the thermostat was installed, Johnny placed the new thermostat that I bought in the hose and put everything back into place again.  We’ve started the engine, refilled the radiator water and waited for the results, unfortunately, the thermostat FAILED us.  When the water temp started rising above optimum level, the thermostat wasn’t opening up its valve, which caused the engine to increase heat since water was blocked and not flowing.

Long story short, I’ve returned the thermostat to the shop and asked for a replacement, which I did just few days later.  Although I got the replacement thermostat already, I have yet to install it onto my 4AGE, blame that on my laziness I guess  LOL!  However, when I do have the time, I’ll be doing it by myself for sure, big thanks to Johnny for all the help earlier!

…not my car sadly!

I spotted this Charmant few days ago while I was driving my wife to her office, do check out the wheels he’s running with, I’m not entirely sure what wheels are those, but its deep dished, wide and its looking really good on the Charmant alright!  Too bad the traffic was moving so I couldn’t possibly just go down and knock on his window to have a chat or two (yeah right, like I would really have the guts to do that, LOL!).  But honestly, don’t you guys agreed that those wheels should be on my car, instead of his?  I’m sure this is just another Ah Pek driving this Charmant as a daily driver, its definitely a waste!  Gimme those wheels!

Oh yeah, if I do have those wheels, the red has gotta go for sure, haha! ^_^
