My Dorifuto Charmant 2009 edition
Sorry for the super late update, was being lazy, haha!
Anyways, I finally picked a day during CNY which surprisingly, was having a decent weather, without further hesitation, I’ve taken some of the following pictures of my crappy Charmant with my handphone:
My Charmant is still rocking with different sized rims front and back, due to the fact that I haven’t changed my suspension, the car still looks tad bit lower at the rear, I know it doesn’t look good, but heck I’m broke, will think of another solution in soon time I guess.
The biggest change after coming out from the paint shop, my black hood! Jumping on the black hood bandwagon yay! LOL!
And here you can see the lovely DCM stickers being applied on the tip of my black bonnet, looks great!
I’ve also applied the ‘Dorifuto’ and the Japanese worded drift logo stickers on my side doors, they’re pretty hard to spot as they’re silver, pity there’s no black color version of those stickers, and they only come in white and silver, which I’ve bought the latter version.
A view in my cockpit, nothing has been changed, except its now cleaner, and a lot of duct tapes were used on my dash, which you can’t really see from this picture though, haha!
I must apologize for the awful sight from the rear, I know my rear wheels must go, LOL! But these will just have to stick with me for a while now, the good thing about those wheels are the tires are so bloody cheap, good for me!
Another DCM stickers at the back of the car.
And then the “Defying Grip” sticker at my rear side panel, together with my old “Drifter in Car” sticker, my favorite!
As you can see from the pictures above, my Charmant, is still looking the SAME as before, except for the black hood, and its finally looking CLEAN now, thanks to the new paint and the polished job.
Anyhow, I’m pretty happy with how the car is now, there are still some more details that needed some attention, but I will get on that much later on, for now, my Charmant is meant to be driven, so rest assured, the car won’t look so clean very, very soon…. LOL!

The front wheel rim and back not the same…is that supposed to be the fashion? You got new seats, I see…very nice! Happy drifting!!!

Zam: I know I know T_T
mylongkang: Sounds like you’re as old as STP too, LOL! So do you happen to have any Charmant in your house now? And yeah, Charmant is a nice car, I’m glad I’m driving it sideways, hehe~
STP: I wouldn’t call it a ‘fashion’ though, many drifters have different wheels front and back due to the fact that they have to change tires often, usually a set of rims only come in four, when they’re out drifting, they’ll be changing tires as tires wear out faster than you thought during drifting, and without a proper tire changing machine, they’d usually bring out an extra set of tires which was already wrapped on different rims.
But in my case, I was simply being a cheapskate, my rear tires are only 13″, smaller, cheaper, LOL!! (for drifting mar, so doesn’t matter)
The seats have been installed to the car the moment the engine being transplanted, not new anymore ^^

at the risk of sounding ignorant, what is drifting?

MyLongKang: I’ll put it really simple, drifting = sliding the car around corners. ^^
